Vesak

Vesak, also known as Buddha Day, is a Buddhist holiday which celebrates the birth of Siddhartha Gautama, who became eventually became the Buddha and the founder of Buddhism. Celebrations surrounding Vesak vary from nation to nation, however, many hang lanterns, share communal meals and visit temples with offerings.
